Impact
Lower barrier to entry – Breaking into the writing or conference speaking scene is sometimes a daunting endeavor. We’ve all been there, doubting our skills, ideas, and perspectives. Women in Agile looks to help break that barrier into entry by providing mentoring, templates for submissions, and opportunities to help both new speakers and writers get noticed.
Grow the next generation of contributors – All of the activities Women in Agile provides are focused on growing ourselves, and in turn, growing others. Mentorship and sponsorship are key tenets of our philosophy, and by freely sharing our strengths and skills with others, we reach far past where we could reach alone.
Showcase new ideas – With our broad network of professionals in the agile community, as well as our own website platform and associated events, Women in Agile has many opportunities to showcase ideas. These can be through speaking slots, blogging opportunities, podcasting, professional development, and even business promotion. We’re looking to share our glow with everyone – so we all burn brighter!
