Kim Hinsch

Kim Hinsch is the author of The Accidental Scrum Master – a novel that follows one woman’s journey from tester to Scrum Master to Agile Coach, told through the ceremonies she fumbled, the teams that changed her, and the slow, hard-won realisation that the most important work is often the work nobody sees.

It is not a biography. It is a story about what it actually looks and feels like to learn something the hard way – the late nights, the moments of doubt, the Post-it notes that pile up until one day, without quite noticing, you have become someone who knows what they are doing.

Known in her community as the Agile Queen, Kim believes the most powerful stories are the ones we almost didn’t tell. Speaking at Women in Agile Europe is her first conference talk – and she is doing it before she feels ready, which is exactly the point.
