The Call for Speakers is now open!!
To enter your submission(s) you need an account on our website. You already have an account when you are a participant or speaker at an earlier conference; or when you are a volunteer or organizer. If you don't have an account, sign up!
We are looking forward to seeing you as speaker at the EINDHOVEN Women in Agile Europe 2023 conference on Tuesday 14 November. We are happy to host this year's conference in-person!
In order to gain the proven benefits for conferences that have a balanced (gender) diversity, it is important to include more women (and all other ‘minorities') as (keynote) speakers at agile conferences,
Last years we made progress, but we are not there, yet! We still need to make the big step .
Therefor our motto this year is “Crossing the (diversity) Chasm”.
We are looking for talks around this motto that tell us about
* finding the balance
* unique challenges
* visibility and leadership
Call for speakers is open till 15 June 2023.
We are accepting Submissions for:
- 45 minutes workshops;
- 90 minutes workshops;
- 45 minutes presentations.
You can submit two proposals for this conference.
Please read the Guidelines for submitting your proposal.
Source: these guidelines were inspired by the submission tips for Agile 2023
Title (obligatory field)
Start with a title that is meaningful to the topic. This is your first opportunity to grab attention; it is the headline of your session. Many people attend sessions based on the title alone.
Please add the status in front of your title:
DRAFT – still working on it
FEEDBACK REQUESTED – comments to improve your submission are welcome
FINAL – you are done, the proposal is ready for review for acceptance for the conference
Abstract (obligatory field)
Information for Organizers (optional field)
This part of the submission form is used to provide details that will help the reviewers and organizers to better understand your session. These details will not be published in the online schedule, so you don’t need to be formal in your language or writing style.
Is this a workshop? Lecture? Interactive session? How do you want to plan it?
Please add if / what technologies you’ll be using in the session (e.g., how many microphones you’ll need; will you need a screen, whiteboard, or anything else).
Also, clarify if you would need any support during the talk from our side. If so, what kind? Let us know if you’ll have extra people helping you out. All this is needed so that together we can ensure that your talk is amazing!
Learning Outcomes (obligatory field)
You might want to start here. Get your learning outcomes clear first, and then write your abstract.
Learning outcomes are a couple of clear takeaways that the attendees will gain after attending your session.
Consider using Action + Concept/Skill wording for your learning objectives. Think words like “demonstrate, show, apply, create, explain, list, describe…”. You can also try this detailed resource.
We encourage you to have learning outcomes that resonate with this year’s theme ‘Crossing the Chasm’.
Presentation History (optional field)
Tell us more about your story! Are you a seasoned speaker, or are you new to presenting? We welcome all types of speakers, from total newbies to experienced speakers. We are inclusive and we want to have a lineup with a mix of skills.
Providing a link to a video of you presenting a topic or pitching your session is highly encouraged as it would give the reviewers a sense of your style.
Please also add if you’ve given this talk before (and where) or if it’s the first time you’ll be presenting it.
This timeline is still under discussion, dates may change!
