The information on this page is to help you submit your proposal for a presentation. Follow the suggested format to maximize chances of your proposal to be selected.
We suggest starting at ‘Learning outcomes’ and then fill in the rest of the fields.
Title (obligatory field)
Start with a title that is meaningful to the topic. This is your first opportunity to grab attention; it is the headline of your session. Many people attend sessions based on the title alone.
Please add the status in front of your title:
DRAFT – still working on it
FEEDBACK REQUESTED – comments to improve your submission are welcome
FINAL – you are done, the proposal is ready for review for acceptance for the conference
Abstract (obligatory field)
Information for Organizers (optional field)
This part of the submission form is used to provide details that will help the reviewers and organizers to better understand your session. These details will not be published in the online schedule, so you don’t need to be formal in your language or writing style.
Learning Outcomes (obligatory field)
You might want to start here. Get your learning outcomes clear first, and then write your abstract.
Learning outcomes are a concise list of a few clear takeaways that the attendees will gain after attending your session.
Consider using Action + Concept/Skill wording for your learning objectives. Think words like “demonstrate, show, apply, create, explain, list, describe…”. You can also try this detailed resource.
We encourage you to have learning outcomes that resonate with this year’s theme ‘Crossing the Chasm’.
Presentation History (optional field)
Tell us more about your story!
Providing a link to a video of you presenting a topic or pitching your session is highly encouraged as it would give the reviewers a sense of your style.
Please also add if you’ve given this talk before (and where) or if it’s the first time you’ll be presenting it.

Review of submissions
The organizers will take a week to review all FINAL submissions and decide which New Voices to accept.
Accepted New Voices receive an email and are asked to confirm they will present at the conference.

Rejected New Voices receive an email including why they were not selected this time.
We may ask if you are available as backup, in case we sell enough tickets to add extra New Voices, or in case an accepted New Voice turns sick.

Getting Ready
We offer mentoring / coaching for New Voices to share their stories, in order for you to shine on stage.
We help all New Voices getting their sessions into shape.
Your session details, profile and photo will be presented on the website and we help you (and you help us) promoting the conference.
November, 2023
General rehearsal
As this year's conference is a life conference, we'll NOT conduct a general rehearsal.
But you will definitely rehearse with your mentor.
